  3. Hi, I have a T8FG Super and I am struggling to set it up for an electric glider. In particular when flying F5J type competitions. I am using an Altis v4 height limiting device. I have set the motor to operate on the RS - right slider, it starts OK but if i want to power on in an emergency it will not re-start. The only way is to disconnect the battery, reconnect and all is OK. The issue is, i believe, having the RS signal time go below 1100µs. How can I set the RS slider to go below that figure? Happy to move it to another switch, preferably on the right-hand side of the TX if that helps. The settings on the Altis allow for emergency re-starts. Te throttle stick T3 is used for crow. Hoping someone can help or advise. Keith

  9. Thanks, read and understood. it's a pity I did not look at the receiver before switching off to pick up the bits and pieces. On further investigation I think it was to do with low battery level. Lesson learnt.  Ben
  10. Hi all, we lost a Limbo Dancer today from about 50' in a final turn on a landing circuit. We have just started to use the Spectrum  modules in our FF9's and chose the AR 500 receiver primarily because of its size. We have followed the instructions to the letter but todays crash was certainly not pilot error. The plane simply continued to roll from the turn and went straight down. It landed / crashed in the biggest clump of grass and whilst it was on the other side of a dyke I operated the TX and to my surprise everything moved as it should. I range checked it in that position and was probably at least 25 paces away. The plane is a write-off and the receiver casing is cracked. Checked it again tonight and it all works again. Does anyone think its worth persuing with Horizon? To be honest I do not understand fully yet about brown outs etc. so any help would be appreciated. Ben
