    Thank you very much Keith for your info  I will try what you say also the idea of storing the templates with the plan OK it is common sense but how many have thought about doing it this way.Being a 72 year old beginner with foam do you put the hinges on the top,bottom of the wing? Kit

    An article the latest (Feb) mag called 'Hail Depron' is worth reading as it is as you guess about using depron. I found the bit about sticking the foam with a hot gun very useful .I tried it out and it does work as Nigel says. It is worth reading. If like me your experience using this material is very limited.

    I had this problem having come back to aeromodelling after some number of years and found my scanner/computer could print out the image of the ribs onto labels.You can buy these upto A4 size and they are sticky on one side. The great thing is that they will peel off the balsa wood with ease without damaging the surface of the wood regards Kit
