G'day Mates Iam building a 26% Extra and it is my first attempt at building using foam core wings, vertical and horizontal stab etc., can all the knowledgeable people out there give me their tried and tested methods of installing the ply plates to hodl the aileron servos in the wings. From the manual I have it appeartd to indicate to me that you just epoxy the ply plate into the box cut into the foam wing - is it as simple as that ? Should the plare generally follow the curve of the underside of the wing ? Cheers, Peter W

I am wondering if Alex Whittaker of Weekenders fame might have some information about the Victa Airtourer in The November issue of RCM&E. Being an Oz person and having some wonderful personal experience wit the Victa I would be grateful if Alex could find out some details from Richard Crapp about getting hold of or building this wonderful aircraft. I'm a member of the Onkapringa Radio Aero Modellers in South Australia and we fly our models at our own field at a country town called Sanderston which is about 80 Klms from my home. For some time we have had an anenometer at the clubhouse which we could access by way of dial up on a computer, thus we could get windspeed and direction from home rather than travelling 80klms to find it unflyable. we have had mechanical problems for some time and with the advent of broadband we find we cannot access it so readily. Does anybody anywhere in the earthly ether have any suggestions how we might get over this problem

Having used all the hardware provided in the kit, I have found that the wheels with their metal hubs and rubber sleev on the axles are in fact rather difficult to run easily. Does anyone know how I could free up the whhels prior to my first flight
