  1. Interesting point, I will try it. The servo monitor is without a doubt showing the elevator only coming in at the 50% point and not starting at the zero point
  2. Hi there, A bit of help is required with regard to the butterfly function on 12fg. I have come from multiplex so bear with me !!!! I have migrated my settings onto my Multiplex tangent electric glider and have test flown it but the butterfly/ crow braking is giving me some grief. I have the function set to the LS slider and have dialled in some elevator compensation within the butterfly function. First flight was interesting with ballooning when crow deployed. Checking the servo movements vis servo monitor has highlighted that the elevator compensation only starts to become active when the LS slider reaches its 50% mid point then it comes in, the flaps % ailerons start to move immediately. The curve is set to EXP1, I have had play with changing it to a POINT curve but confess not to understand it and cannot the desired effect Any help would be appreciated
  3. Thanks for the informative answer !!!! I have already done that it does not tell you I thought the idea of a forum was that fellow modellers could try help each other with constructive ideas I will post the question on an American forum where people tend to be a bit more helpful
  4. I have finished my Tangent electric glider (finally) and in the throws of setting everything up. The crow braking is causing me grief and frustration on my futaba 10c The model is set up as Glider 2A+2F Ail 1 channel 1 Flp2 channel 5, Flp1 channel 6, Ail2 channel 7 The problem I have on this setup is channel 3 is assigned to airbrake (throttle stick) but I want this as the motor throttle. Following the manual under condition/function the airbrake function can assigned to VRD or any other switch. I have done this but the crow braking does not work only channel 3 moves when checked via the servo test function. I have set some movements up in the crow braking function. Putting the airbrake function back to the throttle stick does show movement of the correct control functions Aail/flap. Any ideas ??? Secondly if I can assign the function to VRD how do I then make channel 3 work the throttle. Am I making some assumptions that are not possible with the 10C ?? page 88 of the manual reads that I can do what I want Thanks
  5. I have finished my Tangent electric glider (finally) and in the throws of seeting everything up. The crow braking is causing me grief and frustration on my futaba 10c The model is set up as Glider 2A+2F Ail 1 channel 1 Flp2 channel 5, Flp1 channel 6, Ail2 channel 7 I intend putting the crow on the slider switch VRD Following the futaba manual I can get the VRD switch to operate OK but only one flap drops and the opposite aileron goes up, not both flaps or both Ailerons I have looked at this for hours now and cannot work it out from the manual Any help would be appreciated because I am the stage of not bothering with crow braking PS the ailerons work fine Thanks Chris
  6. Allan, It is what I thought then. I have confirmed that having the switches active when turning on the radio does give a warning like you say. The fact that this warning indicates what mode you are in indicates the radio knows what has been set up. I think the futaba zap set does show the flight mode as does my old multiplex set Thanks
  7. I am using flight conditions/offsets for the first time on a sailplane. I have set the switch positions in ' Condition Menu' as the manual says. When I activate the switches i.e change from normal flight to speed I though I would see the word speed on the display, all I get is the word mix with a black background. Is this correct does the 10c not display what flight condition you are in ?? I have followed the manual as descibed, the only thing I have not yet done is to create any offsets in the different conditions Thanks
