Awww, you're all so kind helping me. I am tempted to just tell him what I've been looking for and get him to chose 3/4 others he'd like and I'll chose out of those,...but may ask for your opinions on them as you've all been great Thank you so much....liking the RC community!

Thank you all so much for your help and links Alan, can this model be towed? Not sure quite how important it is for him, but it was something he mentioned. Is this one any good? Codename-John,....good idea! But I have experience pre-ordering models and it was months,..then I just gave up and got my money back, no idea if the model ever came to the UK in the end! Where can I pre-order? I guess its highly thought of if it's selling out left right and center?! Is there no other scale glider like it about? I dont think being a Ask-21 is a specific issue,...but scale and be able to be towed seems to be for him. ........why, oh why, can he not just like horses?! It'll make my life so much easier!!!

But, if every where seems to be out of stock, is there any other model similar which he may be happy with?

Just had a look - says out of stock my end :-S I tried putting the name into google to search and I couldnt seem to get past the hobby something or other site and the e-bay ads!! Was driving me mad! Any other model websites I could try? Yup, he fly's model things,...helis and planes (I bought him some sort of model plane for Christmas!) and he does also fly the real thing.

Hello all, The other half is very much into his model and real flying! It is his birthday coming up and he has shown interest in wanting the E-flite Ask-21 glider. This would be fine if I could actually find it for sale any where in the UK! So, as his birthday is just over 1 week away, and if no-one here can point me towards where I can buy an E-flite model from, can anyone reconmend another scale glider? By listening to him, I understand that he likes the E-flite because it is scale and it can be towed by another plane,......I know NOTHING about modles, so otehr than the e-flite,....I have no idea what else is out there!! If anyone could lend any information regarding this I would be very grateful indeed! Thank you all for reading :0)
