  1. Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone could link me to a cheap lead that will link my Hitec optic 6 Sport to Clearview. As I am struggling at the moment. Thanks all, Teh
  2. Thanks Alan, Could you give me another piece of advice, is there anything that would work with Clearview for my Optic 6 Sport. As at the moment I am struggling to find anything. Thanks, Teh
  3. Hey, It has come to my attention that a flight sim would be good to buy as it will give me the practice I need, but also I will be able to fly on windy and wet days. Can anyone give me a suggestion of a cheap USB Lead that will connect my Optic 6 Sport to Pheonix? As Pheonix is a good simultator for me. Thanks all, Teh
  4. Wow, that's awesome. Thanks for Posting. I want one of those as a model so much!
  5. thanks todd, The only thing I would say is that some sites have been recommended to me for their cheaper prices, but ebay is good and the price of some stuff I would have bought has been considerably lowered on there! Teh
  6. Hi guys! Could you please give me your opinions on and experiences with the alpha sport 450, as I think I might get it as my first ever plane. I can fly 3 channel planes, and we are looking for something that will last us a while, do aerobatics etc. Thanks for all the help! Teh
  7. Hi guys, I need your experiences and opinions on the Alpha Sport 450, as I'm thinking of buying one as a trainer. It has good reviews saying it is a good trainer plane. Please give me some of your thoughts... Thanks all Teh
  8. This is awesome! Like TwinStar said it's like the wing suits, flying down the cliff face was awesome!
  9. Hi and welcome to the Forum! This is my first time giving advice... so here goes. The first thing to think about is that it depends what you want with your Tx, do you want it to be something that will last you a long time after purchase? Or do you want something that will teach you the basics with no fancy gizmo's added in? My advice would be to go for something that wil last you a while, as others have said. That way the Tx grows with you, and not the amount of money you've spent buying new Tx's. Secondly you'll want to think about what the plane your looking at can actually be compatible with. Bind and Fly only works with spektrum, so be careful about what you buy. Finally once you've whittled it down to the last few choices, as others have said, go to a model shop. Test them out, ask instructors at your club. Ask people on this forum about there experiences. At the end of the day you don't want to be holding something that you didn't want in the first place. Teh
  10. Thanks for all the help guys, Now I have a ton easier job choosing a battery, Phew! In response to your second post John there is plenty of space inside the compartment. A 2200 takes up about one fifth of the space. Then the rest is for ESC and reciever. People say it's good cause it helps you move the CG. On another note, does the plane look good to you? Do you think it would be a good trainer? Reviews say it is, plus I don't want a three channel because I flew a 3 channel club trainer fairly easily. It looks like the perfect plane for me, as it can do aerobatics as well when I get better. Also the balsa and ply construction is a awesome, and spare parts are available. I don't know what more I would want? The real thing that swings it for me to this plane is the fact that of a 2200 you can get up to 20 mins. Thats what our club trainer does and it felt plenty long enough! Your opinion on the plane would be great, im checking it out with experienced flyers just to make sure. Reviews say it's brilliant though. Thanks for all the help, Teh
  11. Guys I need your help a second, I have found these batteries **LINK** they are Turnigy Nano Techs 2200mah 3s, will they work with this plane? **LINK** And also do any of you have experience with them? Are they good batteries? Thanks, Teh
  12. Thanks Redstorm, Also thanks for all the help with Tx/Rx, it has been brilliant for me to see what's on offer. I have nearly got all of my purchases ready, I am slowly whitteling it down. As much as it's taken a very long time to get to this point, I will know that I will have the thing I most wanted and is the best for me when I get it. Thanks all, Teh
  13. Thanks John, How does the equation work, so I can do it for myself? That way I won't have to keep asking for flight times! Thanks again, Teh
  14. Thanks for all the help guys, it is much apprieciated. I will probably go with that battery if "C" doesn't matter, as it is cheaper. A few Quick Fire Quetions: How long would the Wot 4 Foam E MK2/Max Thrust Riot fly for on this battery **LINK** as I don't understand the equation for calculating it at all. I could do it if I got the information to put into it, but I don't know what it's asking for... Thanks a bunch all, teh
