Hi Ive just built a 60 size Seagull Edge 540 and I would like to power my Optima 7 Rx and 6 digital servos seperatley which Ive never done before, This may be simple to a lot of you but I just dont want to damage anything buy the trial and error method. Thanks Ian

Hi Ian & Percy. You are correct if I connect the cable now nothing happens and Percy its at times like this I wished I lived in Europe were you can send things off for repair and get them back in a week, in SA we might have the best flying weather all year round but after market service does not exist, and as normal the tx is just out of warrantie although the hpp-22 is brand new it works fine on my Aurora9 & receivers so I'm sure they will just tell me it's the tx. It just makes me wish I had not tried to update the tx as it was working perfectly. Ian

Hi all, I tried updating my optic6 with the hpp-22 interface and followed the on screen instructions, half way through a Pro9 message appeared on the radios screen and now nothing works on the radio. the only way I can get a response from the radio is by pressing all four buttons on the right and then the red light comes on with this Pro9 message with the leds at the back flashing, Thats it nothing I do will change this. I have been in contact with Mike at Hitec and he is stumped. Thanks Ian

How does one know when his digital subscriptions finished. I can't find it anywhere and can't remember when I paid for it last. thanks ian (SA)

Hi all, thanks for all the support and help with my first heli (trex500E pro) with a fly bar, I assembled it in 10 hrs on Sunday took it back to the shop today for inspection and help with the electrics and the sales men just found problem after problem with my assembly and has sent me home with a list of things for me to do on her, which I don't mind as it is the only way I will learn properly from the beginning even though I now have to strip and adjust and re lock tight half the heli and then take it back for another inspection, only once they are happy with it will they give her a test flight and start my lessons. Hi all, just got myself my first helli and it's my first electric flying machine. All my planes are nitro and the electrics are straight forward but this heli with an esc and gyro and optic7 receiver, I'm stumped have know idea how to connect everything and I don't want to damage anything. Has anyone got any simple instructions on what goes we're for me, or a good web sight. Thanks Ian

Hi all, I've been trying to fly helis on my simulator but on full throttle the helli does not lift, it works fine with the planes but not helis except for the very small ones, I use a Hitec Optic 6 sport on the sim. Can anyone assist it's must be something stupid I am doing. Thanks Ian

Check your Conrod, I had a brand new Magnum 52 motor seize on its 5 th flight and the Conrod had worn through it sleeve. Ian

I'm repairing a wing I slightly damaged this weekend and there is polystyrene under the balsa, is there a special glue you use to glue balsa onto polystyrene or will the normal two part epoxy work Thanks Ian
