Had a bad day about three weeks ago with half a dozen wasps in the shed. All dispatched with the usual hit, miss and panic method! Since the it has been 2 - 3 a week until the recent cold spell. They do seem to larger than normal (definitely not Hornets which were around last year). Perhaps females looking for a nest site? Must check to see if there is a nest.

I am flying the V-Tail 600 Sport as a pure slope soarer. This is my first foray into this type of glider after several Rudder/Elevator models and then an Easy Glider. Obviously a quicker model but easy to fly. It is happier at higher speeds and 10mph+ winds After first full year of flying there is some crazing in the gelkote around the wingseats but no sign if internal cracking. However it has not had any hard arrivals. Working on Aileron settings to improve the roll rate which is not very axial and needs both speed and height! Performance improves as the wind increases.
