The clunk line is unbelievable, as stiff as a board! The bung appears to be the wrong colour and has gone solid. Thankfully, the carb appears to be clear and ok. I've ordered a new clunk line that apparently will not harden, and a new bung. I will replace all fuel lines. Other issues include the plastic control surface clevices become brittle and breaking - they are all being replaced. The batteries have both taken a full charge and are showing great voltage! That's a shocker!

Two and half years passed since my last post on this plane! I finally got to the point (having looked at the plane every time I go in the loft for the best part of the last six years) where I thought, what's the point in it sitting there collecting dust for the next ten years - I may as well get it flying or get rid of it. If it crashes, so what? Its sitting in the loft anyway! So, what's happened to a petrol plane stored in a dry loft for six years? The fuel was the big worry for me as I know it can go off and clog the system up. The fuel in the tank moved very slowly like thick oil so the tank had to come out and stripped. What I found was I guess expected but still good to see it for myself...
