  1. Speaking for myself I would say 10 while 5pmn was reasonable. That's what Eddy and I are working too.
  2. Saturday for Eddy and myself too. It's your's truly's birthday on Sunday and we promised the wives to spend the day with them. Brolly at the ready for Saturday! Steve PS I can recommend Terry's cake BTW, lovely. Edited By Steve Dunning on 10/06/2015 20:28:50
  3. There seems to be concern whether the event is on or not. It is definitely ON. As far as I am aware, the majority seem to be opting for Saturday as their day of choice but I am sure that others will join Graham and Martin Fox ( the persons organising the site) on the Sunday. Some have questioned 'why the secrecy?'. All I have done is follow the landowners wishes via Graham and Martin. Hope that has cleared things up. See you Saturday Steve
  4. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO A FULL SIZE 'FUN FLY' AT SLEAP AIRFILED JUST BEING ANNOUNCED FOR THE 9TH AUSUST, THE DATE HAS BEEN MOVED FORWARD TO  2ND AUGUST. THE CHANCE OF BEING 'FLOUR BOMBED' BY A FUL SIZE WAS TOO MUCH TO RISK!!!! Edited By Steve Dunning on 08/06/2015 13:18:21
  5. Check the one out at Watford Peter. I agree, we could do with one or two 'down south'.
  6. Details have been received now from Tony, and the date is 16th August for a UKCAA event at this new venue. I have been asked to mention that the club enforces the BMFA noise limit of 82dB so no 'screamer' please. Modern engines, particularly on a quiet pipe will meet the target I would have thought, just keep the revs around 10000rpm. Hope this helps. Steve
  7. This event is only just over two weeks away. Graham and Martin Fox (who have organised the site) have asked me to tell you that this is a private flying site (full size) and as such is reluctant to have details public. Could those people (UKCAA) who are attending, please message me so I know who is coming and has location details. Many thanks for you help in this matter. Pics of site below.
  8. Details of the 'Whams' field that is to be used can be found here:- **LINK** Follow link to maps for location. Hope this helps Steve
  9. New Event! Sam Wragg has asked me to inform members that he has secured a date for a visit to HDMFC, 12 July. I will post details shortly and hope members will support this new site. Steve
  10. Hi Can you check your inbox cos I sent details of the Gangster wings you wanted. Please message me with your number as it's not on your UKCAA contact details. Thanks for making the enquiries Steve
  11. Just to say a BIG thank you to all the helpers, pilots and visitors that made today the best 'Open Day' yet. No doubt pictures will appear shortly, as plenty of cameras were clicking away. Looking forward to Skegness now. Steve
  12. Lindsay, that looks superb. Like you say, a jazzy colour scheme will really finish it off. Look forward to see it in the flesh. Steve
  13. Look forward to seeing you all. Weather looks good, the grass was cut today so all bodes well for a good day' Steve
  14. Just heard that the Skegness event is now available as a two day event on the 13 and 14 June. Sat Nav details to follow and camping is available a mile away from the flying site. No camping on the flying field. Who's for fish and chips and an ice cream? Steve
