malmaz - thanks for your comment, but please note it's kc not KC. kc is just an ordinary aeromodeller while KC refers to Kevin Crozier who is the RCME editor and is sometimes on the forum. Kevin often uses KC for his comments in the magazine.
kc Sorry about that, I will be ordering my wood after xmas, I wont bother with Sarik Hobbies I was very disappointed with the last complete wood kit I purchased from them at over £200,
Sooner buy the wood and cut them out myself and save money. lol

If anybody wants my rough estimate of balsa needed then I will put that on here. I reckon 48 inch stock is the most economical for this size of model and my estimate is for economical cutting - i.e. planning ahead how you use the balsa.
KC I would be obliged if you would kindly put your estimate of balsa on here thank you.

I’ve noticed the following on my insurer’s website (Aviva) if it’s of any comfort Malmaz - hopefully most reputable insurers will be taking the same attitude.
We are working with the emergency services and our priority is to provide whatever assistance we can to customers who may have been affected by the fire at Luton Airport. In the first instance, car insurance customers can call us on 0345 030 6925 for assistance or to report a claim. If your car has been affected by the fire at Luton Airport Terminal 2 car park, we will waive your excess and your NCD will be unaffected. We would advise customers to check the latest news alerts for more information about their travel plans
My insurance have been in touch with me this morning and have made an offer for my car, which I have declined, they would not pay any compensation for my daughter to come and collect us from the airport, a 250 mile roundtrip. Also my NCD will drop from 12years to 4years on my next renewal.
I mentioned that article Martin, to my Insurance and they said it was the Big company's that were doing this and They might follow, So much for customer service, Kick you in the teeth when your down in luck, comes mind.

My car was parked in this car park on level 3 Parked up on Sat 7th oct, we was on holiday in Majorca and was in informed by Luton airport car parks about the fire, me and my wife are totally besides ourselves over this.
We arrived back at Luton yesterday lunchtime to see for ourselves the destruction we our absolutely gutted by this, we received another update from Luton this morning that building is unsafe and they deem all 1405 cars in the car park will be unsalvageable. 😧

Malmaz, can't help with the material list but I can tell you where to find the plotted wing ribs for the Chilli Breeze ic design. Ribs were done later by by Harry In Edmonton Canada to suit Mike Delacole's (Delks) original ic plan from RCME. Ribs are here - look for the final revised version and note that it approximates the original but not exactly the same. A test print I printed looked exactly right. I think that Delks mentioned somewhere that his latest electric version ( soon to be in RCME ) has a very slightly different wing profile to his original.
Thanks for that KC, I have downloaded the Ribs pattern.

For a winter project I am going to build the Chilli Breeze, I have already downloaded and printed off the Outerzone plan and I will be building it with the built up wing
and going down the IC route.
My Question is does any one have a list of the balsa sheet and strip wood I will require without having to go over the plan and list the sizes and quantities that I will require?

Ok once again Philip thanks for that, I think I will stick with the new charger for now and perhaps get another power supply
in the future.

Thanks for that Philip, my other charger I have is a single output which I have been using to charge my 6s lipos, would I be able
to use that at the same time as the new charger so I would be charging 3x 6s at the same time or would that be too much for my
power supply?

Sorry for another question regarding chargers, I purchased the Toolkitrc M6d dual output charger my question is about the input voltage.
My power supply is a Hobbyking dual output 540w (not 1000w as in my previous post ) I have had this power supply many years and pleased with it,
the output voltage range is 13.8 - 18v and is set at 18v the new charger input is 7 - 28v if I charge 2x6s 5000Mah at 5a each will the 18v output of my
power supply be sufficient ?
Thank You

Thanks for your reply's, I think I will go ahead and purchase the toolkitrc M6D, for information I have a Dual output 1000w power supply

I am after buying a new charger to supplement the one I have, I am after a dual output charger that would be suitable for my 6s 5000mah lipos,
I have been looking at the ToolkitRC M6d charger, my question is would I be able to charge 2x6s 5000 mah lipos at 1c at the same time? also do anybody
recommend any other dual charger to charge the above?.

Looks fantastic! Is that paint or film ? Good job either way ?
It's covered with Hobbyking white film and then car vinyl for the colours.

Can someone advise on Sbus and my SZ18 tx setup. I am going to use standard servos with my Sbus system and I know I have to purchase a Futaba SBD1 Decoder to run these servos, on my transmitter I can program Sbus servos etc but my question is can I programme the SBD1 decoder with my transmitter or do I have to purchase a Futaba SBC1 programmer to program the Decoder?

I went flying yesterday (Weds 1st may ) and gave my chilli breeze its maiden flight, it flew brilliantly, a couple of clicks down elevator and a couple clicks left aileron.
One of the pictures after it safely landed.
