Hi Andy These pictures are just what i wanted, i take it that you will be cutting along the bottom of the ply strip ,to form the door . What hinges will you put in . Thanks a lot Andy this makes the build a lot easier, I have been three weeks trying to sort this out . Regards Alan
-
Hi Andy You are right i have been making them as seperate items, i can see what you mean, i will try and post a photo tomorrow , i am not sure how to post a photo but will give it a try Thank you Alan

Hi Andy Thank you for your reply, its the sheeting at the top of the formers at the front of the doors thats the problem , they bend in and the door should fit on top, but everything looks out of shape. I have made two sets of doors , and sanded the bend to follow the sheeting ,but it does not look like some of the photos of the nacelle that are on this site Alan

Hi all Has anyone built or building the nacelles at this stage, i am finding it a bit difficult to work out the plan. Would be gratefull for some pictures. That is the inner nacelle. Regards Alan

Hi Michel I to found that tricky thats where the zap glue comes to its own. I have fitted the cheeks for the narcelles and formed the back end ,a lot of sanding was needed here, cannot fit the center section until i have the retracts , they have been on order for a week now , i phoned unitracts today and he explained how they had a lot of orders to get through , so they would take another two weeks. I will get on with glassing the tailplane in the meantime. Alan

Hi Craig I have been in hospital since thursday, having a hernia operation come home today . All is now well so i shall get back to the build soon. Ihave the fuel tanks all the servos and i am waiting for the retracts to be delivered. The same as the ones that tony used they cost £250 . I selling some of my petrol engines to fund ,for the new ones. i will take the pics when i can carry the plane around , i have to watch the stitches dont break . I shall be following this thread to the end, so i hope i can have some input from time to time regards Alan

Thanks for your avice ,4xsc30 fs it is then , I put the wings on the fuse today for a trial fit , and boy or boy it is big, i will put some pics together on the weekend and i will try and post them
-
I agree with you that a jig is a must have to built the fuse. i am building the nacelles at the moment, i am in a dillema as to what engine to use. Tony said that you could go bigger than the sc30fs , there is not one between the 30 and the 52 , will the 52 be to big . These are the right price when it comes to buying 4 engines ,the os40fs are way to expensive to fit 4 .
