  1. Well done mate you should have seen my first build ,I'm surprised it's not still flying in circles over the hills in Dorset it was so bent lol . And be warned the taste and smell of balsa dust is one of the most addictive drugs know to man lol .
  2. Cheers glen I've done the eBay thing at least I'll get them
  3. Has anyone got in their possession a spring collet locking collar they have spare , mines shattered and I cannot find one anywhere ( it's a smalllllllll part but amerang say they won't have any until next year ) the part number is PN0152 . cheers for looking xx lol
  4. I think your right Jeff 2 I've had a good look and the u/c mounting looks like it's the major mannock . Must say it's very well built can't wait to get her back in the air where she belongs . Any ideas as to how to remove the years of oil ( mind you it adds a cracking patina so may just leave it ) ill keep you informed of the progress Cheers for the help people muchly appreciated As a footnote it's rather fitting seeing I live in Wellingborough and am refurbing one of Dave's aircraft loosely designed on one of wellingboroughs local heros . I'd better make a good job of it eh lol
  5. I have acquired a well loved and flown se5 I'd like to know if anyone knows what kit /plan it's built from . It's 80 span 54 fus length . She needs a touch of TLC but that's why she's with me lol
  6. Your not messing about dave are you lol that would have taken me 3 months the speed I build Hope she flys well ( which from the look of the build so far I'm sure she will)
  7. Now what a challenge , first build after 25 years away from building, and I've got a very very original idea . I'd love one if at all possible Dave Cheers
