  1. I dont know if its just me, but when on there site, everything is showing in USD, even when I try to change to GBP not that it makes any difference, just wondered if anyone else had noticed this...
  2. Thanks guys for the advice.. one quick question... HK related.. Do you not end up getting wacked with import duty and alike? As I have been caught out before.. Cheers Dave
  3. Hi all, Right where to start, been out of the rc world for about 15years and finding it all new... Liking the look of the Bixler 2 and reading/watching the reviews it looks like what I want... And more over its in the correct price range... The questions are the kit comes with nothing but the plane so obviosly Im needing rx/tx, but Im looking to try to build a definituve list of everything I need, so I can build up the kit as and when I can afford it... Cheers in advance Dave
  4. I could do roundals that way, in three separate circles for self assembly as I am terrible at layering stickers even with registration marks... Dave
  5. Posted by Steve Hargreaves - Moderator on 05/07/2013 13:52:59: I assume the vinyl is available in different thicknesses/weights? Obviously for flying models weight is our enemy so the lighter the better..... Yeh exterior vinyl is usually the thickest, there is intermediate which is slightly thinner, but I doubt there is much in the weight difference.. Iain, I can only cut vinyl so no printing problems for me... Thanks for the info, just so I know I put my own designs on, once I get round to getting a plane... Cheers Dave
  6. Hi all, Newbie here so please be patient... This is sort of a work question, I make vehicle vinyl stickers and Im just wondering about if they would be suitable for application to rc aircraft as well? I use 5year + exterior vinyl which on vehicles gets a good grip... In reality I should probably just wait till I have my own plane and do some testing, but thats going to be a while off as things a bit too quiet... Dave
  7. Thanks to all for the very warm welcome, already spent far too long in the beginners section, must get back to cutting stickers...
  8. Evening all, A bit of a greenhorn to RC flying, had a bit of expeience of cars but that was a few years back... Currently looking at hawksky rtf or something similar, to learn with... We have 5 acres so spenty of space and not many trees I have to say this seems to be a great place for a lot of info, from what Ive read already... Cheers all, Dave
