Hi There I have just aquired a Formosa and was wondering if any one has a power recommendation for it, I have an EMax CF2812 ( 950Kv ) Will this be suitable on a 3 cell Lipo or would more power be useful if it is ok what prop do people recommend.

Ok Thanks for that might have to do a bit more searching about the extra but what I have heard so far it sounds quite good, just have to run it through motocalc see what it says.

Hi there, I have come across a couple of ads for a protech extra 330l has anyone heard of it or of protech, the distributer is based in belgium but they appear to have dealers all over the place, any thoughts??

Thanks for the advice David depending on the finance minister I will probably end up with the Acromaster by the looks of things, silly question I am using  3s1p 20C 2200mAh   and 1800 lipo's  at the moment will I need to up grade them as well? 

I like the look of the Acromaster, any recommendations for powertrain, or the other alternative ( built up ) would be the Ultrafly extra although I would prefer a foamie, (strange I know)

Nice looking plane assuming you mean the S30E, I would rather go for an EP foam 3d to start with less matchsticks, althought the Cermark 1m Katana looks good as well and more persuadable for her ladyship

yes David it is I prefer the look of the extra but there is something about the SU 31

Hi David I have the Art - Tech Cessna, and I really wouldnt go for it. I found it very underpowered and not the easiest of planes to fly let alone gorund take offs from concrete being next to impossible. I am just about to upgrade it with a brushless / Lipo conversion I can let you know how it goes if you have already got one. by the way sussex model centre ( www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk ) still do the Mini Mag and do magister power sets might be worth an email.Good luck

Hi There I have just been given her ladyships blessing to go and get a new plane have narrowed it down to either the new DYNAM extra 300 or the J PERKINS SU31. Has anyone come across these, built or flown them cause I cant decide. Any other suggestions would be good as well. Cheers
