  1. Yes Rich, it says V2 on the plan. I would have sent it back otherwise and got one from yourself . Also thanks to Tom for the place to get the Dural from. John.
  2. Build is going well, would like to fit a dural undercarriage, does anyone know of a supplier for this material, so that I can make one. Many Thanks John.
  3. Great, thanks Rich for the clarification. I will look out for V2 on the drawings. John.
  4. Hi all, just read a thread on another forum from May 2012 about the RPG plans and woodpack not being correct when purchased from traplet, I have just ordered this combo from Traplet and would like to ask if this issue is now resolved or are mine going to be wrong? One for Rich Harris I suspect. Regards John.
  5. After some thought, and some good advice from Rich E, I have purchased my first pusher Giro Plan and wood pack for the RPG from Traplet, my goal one day is to build a Rex XL, the RPG being my training platform as a first step into pusher giros, I am very much looking foward to flying this machine and will report to you guys on my build progress as I go along. Hopefully i will be able to bring it to one of your giro gatherings in the near future. Cant wait for it to arrive now so I can get started!! John.
  6. After watching video of the Rex XL, I have been completely turned around on my thinking, I would like to build one of those instead, looks alot less building also. Now all i need are some plans, are there such things available? John.
  7. Wow, I have fallen in love with your Rex XL , I was looking at a Dag 60, but I have changed my mind after looking at this sweet looking Giro, electric too, much less messy. Seems to fly like a dream, probably pilot skill making it look that way. Is a plan available for this, I am sold on this machine. John.
  8. Thanks for the info and video, it seems to fly great, what are the negatives with roll only on cyclic? the one i can see is not being able to kill the lift on landing in stronger winds and maybe not being able to pull back rotor while taxying to help speed up the rotor. What would be the benefits of main rotor pitch control if i were to suffer the cost of extra strong servos, sorry for all the questions. John.
  9. Also, I have a 120 4 stroke and a Zenoah 22cc petrol, is nose weight an issue, if it is it would probably rule out the petrol. I have previously had a PT25 and now an Auto G from HK. Surely some one can help me out with a way to build a Dag 60 or similar, eg same size and style. Any help much apreciated. John.
