  1. Yes,there is the USB interface dongle. Which plugs into the plug. I'll give it a go. Just didnt want to charge it to fast or so. Thanks all.
  2. Hello all. Can anyone advise if charging these nano quads with 150mah lipos on an android USB wall charger is fine for the battery? It says use the PC USB which is standard 500ma ?? My wall charger is 1.35a. Any advice appreciated. Just saves my firing up the laptop every hour for the child's. But don't want to kill said battery.

  4. I ran my bixler 2 for a year with 35mhz. Everything was just crammed in the little space. I never had any probs. The aerial was taped out along to the wing tip. Never had an issue. But I decided to put an frsky 2.4 module in my 35 mhz tx and an frsky RX in the bix plane. Was pretty cheap to do if you have nice tx you want to keep. If youre handy with a soldering iron.just a thought. Saves buying a whole new tx
  5. Thanks Simon. I will take your advice.I paid a lot for the ESC ,and the rest of it, so I'll stick with the 3s for now until I know what's happening.
  6. Maybe I should grab one then. In the mean time, it says the Phoenix 45 has over current protection of 5 levels. Will this not keep it safe for now?
  7. I think that is a good advice Simon. It's a handful on the 3s. The additional weight will be welcome though as I was having trouble balancing with the 3s. The motor I have is a fair weight so I had to shove the battery way forward As for the Watt meter, is there a cheapy I can get? I have to stop spending money on this hobby !!!! I need to get to grips with this watts thing. No other way to calculate it? After my flight, the batteries were not very warm, maybe slightly more than on the bixler flights but I could'nt get to the phoenix as its inside the fuse screwed in.
  8. Took the T-45 for a try out this eve... From a standing throw it was literally trying to pull out of my hands so I did'nt have to put much effort into launching. Very easy on my own to launch. It really does fly fantastic with the fan the right way round!!!. So ridiculously fast, I had to fly on half throttle tbh just to keep an eye on it. So even on one 3s 2200 battery I had about 8 minutes. Shame as I've gone and ordered a 4s battery which I am thinking will be stupidly uncontrollable now at 14.8v. What great fun.
  9. Following corrective surgery overnight the hawk now gives 550 grams of thrust now give or take ..... & only on a 3s battery . I guess it will be more on the 4s!!! .... Thanks for all your help & Advice guys. She might fly on that.
  10. Mmmm Its the second fan Ive had in AND out. I dont know if it'll survive another round of surgery ...
  11.  I give up. Well that explains everything. Where is the nearest cliff. ........................How is this possible !   Edited By dan c 1 on 15/09/2014 17:37:51
