I think Frsky have set a new standard re. technology and certainly price level. when I bought the jr x9 transmitter three years ago, it cost me five times more !

I received the Taranis transmitter two weeks ago. I am now ready with the first model ready programmed. A beatiful kyosho spitfire 50. I am not very familiar with programming, so I was a little bit worried about this. My children learnt this in school, but the elder have to learn it by themselves. I red all I could find on the net about Taranis,with open network. Believe me, its not so difficult. ! If you follow the instructions its actually plain simple, nothing to be worried about. If you do something wrong in the programming, just delete the line, and you are back on start. I really believe that this is the future, so come on all of you !! Jan (Ragnar)

I have been reading forums and other things on this site many hours today, and it has been very interersting, I have ordered a Lysander kit from Tony today, and I am looking forward to get it. I have a topflite kit of the Dakota on the shelf. I started last year, The fuselage is wood finished and the wing structure is finished, but I lost the good feeling it is to build from scratch, and I stopped this Winter. So I am really looking forward to receive the Lysander kit Hello riverlandgirl. I have been told that New Zealand has about the the same nature and climate as Norway. Hello, I am soon a oltimer (60), live in Norway, and love the great hobby of model planes I saw this site when I was searching the net for a special model airplane: Westland Lysander ! What a fantastic flying machine. I have built two airplanes from kit before; Built no. 1 : Topflite P40 Flying Tiger, 60 size. Built no. 2 : Topflite Corsair giant scale. In addition several ARF`s, but I must say that building from scratch with balsa and plywood gives me the best feeling. So If somebody knows where to buy plans, Wood and other nescessary parts for a Lysander, I will be happy to hear from you best regards Ragnar
