Hi
Newbie (ish) to this forum & just getting back into the swing of model flying after a long overdue pause.
I purchased from ebay on tuesday a copy of Radio Modeller from 1988 as it includes a free plan of a funfighter Grumman "pocket rocket" F8F-2 Bearcat 36" 4ch.
Made a start this afternoon with the fuselage formers & sides being cut and shaped from 1/8 sheet, the horizontal stab and flying surfaces from 3/16 sheet.
The chap who designed this did so by fitting it out 4ch, anyone think it would be ok to bring it down to 3ch by omitting the rudder control? Did'nt ever remember a need for rudder authority with my Cambrian Funfighters from a few moons ago? Thoughts?
A little start, C&C welcomed
