Hi These kits were released around 1999 - 2001 and would of been a limited run. I purchased the Splatfire from the Nats and it flew great. I'd like to see if I can get hold of a plan for the Splatfire to build from. Anyone ? Mart

Hi Picked up this Hangar 9 unfinished F6F Hellcat, the covering needs a bit of a tidy up but everything else seems sound. Question With ultracoat, can I key down the gloss finish & add paint via my iwata airbrush? If yes, does the type of paint matter as I have a vast collection of water based acrylic Mr Hobby / tamiya? Morning Last night I test flew this Arrows Lockheed T-33 in glorious late evening light, no wind, warm sun.........lovely!? This is the 1st time for me with a EDF & I have to say i'm impressed with its performance, 30% E/P set on the flight surfaces and it flew rock solid. Used x3 overlander 2200mha 3S lipo's with flights lasting 4-5 mins, though i'm sure with a bit of wind you could knock a minute or two off. Best Mart

Hi Getting back into model flying again & have quick question. Purchased 2 graupner 12x7 props for my O.S 55AX & i'm unsure if these are for electric, not IC? Can someone please confirm...... Many thanks Mart

Hi Miss Kitty III that Aircorps finished a few years ago would be a nice choice. All over natural ali with the O.D anti glare & black tail. You can see the various area's of acid etching where the spot welded sheet metal skins are placed. Best Mart

Afternoon I'm looking at buying a 46 size engine for my Magician that i'm building. Has anyone got experiance of "Force" engines? Seen a few shops are stocking these now. Best Mart

Well, it did'nt take too long....... Airframe stripped & looks as though its been built well. Some areas req attention, the R/H lower longeron is split along with the underside sheeting & the rudder post / vertical spar has faired the same. Also noted is that a replacement firewall / servo rails / upper R/H fwd fuse sheeting will be needed. Some area's you can see have succumbed to fuel, but all are bone dry now. All the fixing's ( horn's / rod's / various clevis / wheels / tanks ) will be wasted & new stock fitted. Best Mart

Hi Chanced a punt on this Speedy Bee on ebay today & won it for £21. Collected from a very nice chap outside Lincoln this afternoon & quickly returned home with it before evening dinner in peterborough stopped play. I'll strip all covering to inspect the airframe but already I can see areas that require a fix, it looks as though it has'nt flown for a few years. With a little 4 stroke upfront i'm hoping it will be a relaxing lazy summer evening flyer?. Best Mart

Hi All the planking has been completed with the underside bellypan being the last to do. 1st time laying down this method & i'm not sure that I got it 100% right. The cockpit area around F4 has been released with some material to be lost on the actual former itself to allow a shallow cockpit floor to be glued in place. Best Mart -
