  1. Hello All I wanted to try something different, and finally elected on trying to build a fully working Canard Plane from none-other than my own thoughts, desires, aspirations and imagination. The first objective was to try to work out where I was trying to head, and I elected to create something which would look akin to our current fighter aircraft, but somehow more sinister. I wanted a plane to be fast, and tremendously agile and for this reason also elected on a 32 sized motor as well as fully moving foreplanes - which after much head scratching, seem to have come together. At time of writing I am afraid I have yet to fly this beast, as the weather here in the states is simply dire 6 inches of snow and temperatures as low as -15C. The foreplanes have been programmed to enable no movement (for maiden flight), Elevator only, Aileron Only and full Elevon control. Let me know your thoughts. Kind regards Knud Pedersen
  2. Hi Nigel Just wanted to reach out. I have just completed a Candoo. This is the first model I have made from an RCM&E plan, but loved the look and feel of this plane. But I am afraid have deviated a little from your original design. I have added a fully working rudder as well as independent foreplanes. I have set these up to enable me to have no movement, just elevator movement, just aileron movement, or full elevon movement. I did not have the prerequisite canopy so created one from carved balsa, which also gave me the opportunity to add a removable hatch. All access to the receiver and battery is through the hatch. I live here in the States, and get RCM&E shipped to me every quarter by a friend, And literally built this over Christmas - so easy, so quick and so enjoyable. Unfortunately we are currently at about -10 to-15 degrees C, so I have yet had the opportunity to fly it, but will look you up once I have. KInd regards Knud Pedersen
