Alan, follow the plan and you will get it right, do not do what I did, put them on to the wrong end of the wing, had to cut off and make two more, oooh what a silly billy I was.
All the best Mike.

Hi Alan, I have found the best way to use the servo's to the control services, are using golden rod controls, these are flexible so you have to put cross pieces along the fuss, but they are complete with the clevises and all fittings,
There are two sizes blue which are for more demanding controls, then there are red ones which are thinner I have found these to be quite strong enough for glider flying, I hope this is helpful for you to decide, there is no need for z bends as you can connect at both ends with no problems, also it is far easier to adjust the length,

Hi Ton, thank you for noticing, my mistake so I will cut them off and change them, will not know if it would have made any difference to the flying, as I will not try it. Once again thank you. The weather here is awful no chance of a maiden for quite some time.

All the best to every one as I may not be on for quite awhile.

Hi KC, thanks for the comment but the gap is bigger than it looks in the photo, if the movement on the controls is all right then I will chop off the last two holes giving more clearance,
Mike.

Hi Glyn, no need for a heat gun save some money, just up the heat on your iron and pass it over the covering
with out touching it, keep an eye on it & you will see it shrink, why not do a test, build a square of balsa or a plastic box cover it
then pass the iron over it to see if it shrinks, if you burn a hole in it, take it off & try again, do this until you get it right
saves making a mess of the wings or fuse, hope this will help you.
all the best Mike.

all most forgot not using the two (2) dowels in the front of the wings or the two (2) lock down bolts at the trailing edge, going for the old method of rubber bands, tried & tested.

How is every one getting on with the build? I have built the wings & tail feathers, now on the fuse. the wings gave me a bit of a problem as all the ribs were not of the same length so had to cut a couple of new ones, the fuse isn't to difficult, so long as it is kept square & level, I have altered the front end as I am using a brushless motor which is placed on a fire wall a lot farther back, still using the same circular nose cone, may have to alter the battery position to find the C of G. will try to upload some photos when finished. that's all for now as I have to go & do some snow shovelling.
All the best Mike.
