  1. No that's okay the spelling was the least of my problems!!! At least you read my post even if you could not help with a solution. Don't change in 2017 but have a good year with lots of flying.
  2. Pete b and Steve J Excellent article link thanks. My original set up was correct, but mixing flap with either left or right airelon made both airelons go in the opposite directions, but reading the article I realised the following: on my powerbox receiver there are two airelon sockets, but they are linked (ie rather like having a y lead!) and not independent all I had to do was to plug one airelon lead in to the Aux1socket instead then all was perfect as they were now independent and both went up as I needed with the crow mix on, so thanks very much.
  3. Thanks for your replies all. Hi Denis It did not work, you are right I need an extra channel, but even with releasing one from the rudder, i am not sure that it will work.
  4. Thanks Denis you rekon that way is okay and not too complicated it is all due to this back mixing see the bottom of page 28 in the book. i have no prob with the turbine or anything else it was just that on mixing one airelon to be up it put the other down due to this back mixing with no way to turn off back mixing.
  5. Thanks Denis, what if i set the wing type to one airelon and then slave the other airelon to it as a mix, then do two more mixes for the flap as master one to right Airelon and the other to the left airelon both for up airelon.
  6. I have a servo for each airelon, one for the elevator, one for the flap/brake, one for the retracts, one for the wheel brake, there are two rudders (twin boom) with a servo for each, one for turbine throttle ie nine servos. it is set up as two airelons and when I mixed flapwith left airelon the right airelon moved dow, not up as i wanted this is due to back mixing page 23 in the manual.
  7. No it is a powered turbine aircraft, sorry i should of said.
  8. hi My DX 9 is set up aircraft two airelons one flap. When the flap is deployed I want a mix set so that both airelons move up by a small amount (crow brake affect) Due to back mixing I find that one airelon goes up, but the other goes down, how can I overcome this please thanks.
  9. Looking good Trevor, do make sure that the pilot gas not got a thing about being up side down, it could make flying a little too exciting!
  10. Anyone build Olympia from plans please. I have just started one.
  11. The turbine has arrived and I have fitted it, all went well. I found one day when the weather was just okay so went up to the field and after having a check the weather flight with another model decided that although a little windy I would try the maiden flight. The Vampire flew really well, I was really relieved and pleased. I very much recommend this aircraft it proved an absolute delight to fly.
  12. Anyone know the date of the last Sywell Model Aircraft Show which was also the last show before Jim Davis Models packed up. Somewhere around 1980. I bought a 1/4 scale Spitfire there and it is still flying. I would love to know it's age!
  13. Beautiful looking model, well done. I look forward to seeing it in the air. Charles
