Hi guys, thanks for your input, I should clarify that I'm an engineering apprentice who wants a hobby I have a working and mathematical knowledge of flight dynamics and I have actually designed and built a quad-tilt rotor for a college project. My lecturer said it would never fly, I flew it past his window :') But really, all I want is a quadcopter style craft. Given the complexity of control via moving the fans in two axis each, perhaps the fore fans could handle forward/ reverse acceleration, while the aft fans control left and right, given their distance from the fore fans it should give me a nice turning moment. As for the rx and tx im on a budget, I can get a high tec optic 6 tx for ?90. Im aware of edfs relative inefficiency versus props but they do grant the opportunity to mount a convergent duct on each exhaust for more thrust. Typed this on my mobile, more substantial reply due later on
