  1. As for engine size, im going to get all the framework finished and weigh it to see what kind of thrust im going to need, maybe then i can work out what will be suitable
  2. Thanks mate, Oh yeah a os twin would sound awesome lol Ill be making the undercarriage properly after its flying, just abit more durable like this for testing, Ill sort some plans out one day, i just need to get around to properly doing them, im always tweaking things still atm to improve certain areas so cant really make plans before im 100% happy Mark
  3. Hi Giuseppe, I havent done too much more this week due to being busy at work and out flying my smaller nitro one after work lol Ill get back to it the next few days and get some updated pics up Mark Ps ive updated my website a little aswell and some more better videos to come so check it out Cheers www.Mark675microlights.co.uk
  4. Also been working on some retracts for a new version of trike im making based on the flylight dragonfly, It will have a slightly bigger wing and a much lighter trike so hopefully can do some thermalling lol https://youtu.be/kyBZRP3nPco Edited By mark hadden on 06/02/2017 07:38:40
  5. Morning guys, Managed to finish my dashboard late last week, I swapped out the clear directional LEDs for some diffused ones for a nicer glow and finished off the radio screen.
  6. Thanks Tomtom What was the Draken? Ive never heard of that one? Mark
  7. Thanks Tomtom Shame more people aren't interested in these aircraft but hopefully will be able to get them to be Ive just started the wing sail so will post pics when its done Mark
  8. Started on the rear suspension today, nearly got the one side done, Needs abit of shaping and riveting but works well,
  9. Yeah it is mate i got mine from wickes, Im using 10mm dia with 1mm wall thickness (8mm hole) for most of the wing frame And 8mm dia tube (6mm hole) for all other areas, Im strengthening mounting points by insterting solid bar into the area, It has to entend abit past though so doesnt create a stress riser Mark
  10. Thanks Giuseppe Im really happy with how its coming together, Cant wait to fly it!
  11. No worries Denis Thanks for adding them againEdited By mark hadden on 31/01/2017 07:32:57
  12. Well ive been getting a fair bit done on this the last few days, ive finished the 'a'frame and the crossbar and other little bits and pieces, Really starting to look like a big version of my other one now and weights suprisingly little at the moment, Ill have to get it on the scales after the servos are fitted, Not sure on engine choice atm, this o.s25la is just on there for show atm lol am thinking of a nice 4 stroke as ive never had one of them and they sound lovely The crossbar design is just like the real one- pivoted in the middle so you detension the wing and bring the leading edges in and it all folds up into a 1.5 meter tube, Good job really as ive got no way to transport this 2.7 meter wing Going to start making the sail tomorrow so will post more pics when ive got something to show Mark
