Hi, as a beginner model maker and flyer, I don't know the quantity of wood required to make this. I've got the magazine with the plan in and am keen to get started. Can anyone provide a shopping list?

Lol I've not read many good things about the deagostini spit, but I think it 'looks' really good. I'll post some pics later and let you have a look.

Hello, My name's Will and I'm from Camberley, Surrey. Years ago I bought the deagostinin rc Spitfire collection and stored in the attic for a rainy day. Well it must've been pouring down because I have almost finished building it. Having never built a model before, or flown an rc plane, I thought I'd better do some research. That resulted in me buying RCM&E, and discovering this website. Then learning new words like 'trainer' and 'club' and 'A certificate', as well as how difficult it is to fly a Spitfire, and how if someone with my non experience attempts it, I'll probably be walking away with some very expensive kindling. So far this looks like a world I want to be part of and am looking forward to my maiden flight, with whatever plane that might be, soon. Will.
