Hi stupid question time! I am fitting a IC engine for the first time. All my others are electric. coming from the fuel tank I have three lines. One is angled down in the tank with a hose and a weight. The middle line I believe goes to exhaust. My question is where do I connect the last line.

Yes I just need to find out what kit. I won't get payed! -
Apart from the DJI system can you transmits HD? I am not worried if there is a small delay. The reason being I have been asked if I would do some filming at a sports events they run a web cast that goes out live on the net. what are the options?
-
I see no reason why not. I gotthem from T9. To be fair it's does know have a note telling people, I am told other systems are having to do the same. Edited By Martin Rowe 1 on 07/02/2015 18:09:10

Nope one or the over goes full travel. Sometimes.....

I asked the forum here http://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=103868&p=1#PostTop I know what you mean. Not been flying very long but it's bitten me hard. I will be getting my 'big wings' with my storch as it's a fair size but ok to fly.

Yes I have plugged in with the power on. I have tried the proper way as well. It's not that actual servo I was using it as.a reference. you may be onto something with the signal strength. I'll check it out.

The servo looks like this one in the link but the spline is on the face with the sticker http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__23923__Corona_DS_239HV_Digital_Slim_Wing_Servo_Metal_Gear_4_6kg_13sec_22g.html

Hi I recently purchase a old 100" scale B25 bomber. I have just been checking it over to see what work needs doing. All the servos seem good apart from the ailerons. the model has a servo in each wing, unfortunately they have been built in so I don't have the model number. They appear to look a lot like a short but wide flat servo. when I connect the servos they will sometimes move to the end of their travel. Only ever one wing and not always the same wing. help?

Nerves of steel is no problem. I don't intend to fly it for a while. Someone who has vast exsperiance is going to fly it for me. He has a similar size model (slightly bigger but I won't admit that) he's going to help me get started in big models. i do have some twin exsperiance yes. Just tried to,power up some of the servos and both wing servos are behaving oddly. So I will need to dig them out and see what's going on.

No apologies needed. It's all good stuff. What I went for was a bit random. Jon I have a lazer in my storch. That model was bought from someone pre-built so I did not have to spec and set up. It's 150, as engineer I love the machining on these engines I often think I would like to make my own. So what, did,I buy? Two super tigre .9s from ebay. They came wrapped in a 1/4 scale B25 for the same price as two new engines. The wife is less than pleased. I would take a pic if I could figure out how to post one. Do you need do anything to fly large models? It's 9kg dry? my club says BMFA guidelines and a max of 12kg?

That's weird. I was just setting mine up to tell me the average voltage of my lipo pack on demand. its awesome. Having, said that it does look a bit plastic. Function, over form for me. I must admit though my last radio was a dx6i and then the taranis not tried anyone else's offering.
-
I wonder why so much hate for the taranis, not a lot wrong with it as far as I can tell. a few weeks ago someone at my club told me they were illegal and I can't use it. Lucky our club chairmen intervened.
-
Have you considered taranis?

Hi if your interest I have a 22.4ghz tx you could have for 20£ it hase a receiver to get you started as well. It came from a st discover bind and fly. I believe it uses fubata logic for when you need a second receiver

One more thing. Would a asp 160 fs be too much! I really like the sound of twins and I building this as my special plane
-
Can you tell me the difference in performance? They do sound nice though?.......
-
Hi thanks for replying. A 2 stroke is what I am thinking. That's a good point about the wood.

Hi this is my first go at fitting a IC engine so be patent! Are the ASP mothers from the dread HK any good? My real questions is props. What size prop do I need? The model,is blackhorse chipmonk the smaller one. I think it would be a shame to go electric in this one. could some one give me a link to a good quality wood one of the correct pitch?
