Hi yes it starting and running fast. I think I need to adjust the slow running needle from the link provided. Not sure what way is slow/faster.

Hi everyone thanks for looking. I have brought a second hand model with a laser 150 in it. I saw the engine running when I bought it and not receiver is in it. The throttle appears to be closed. The engine has sat for a month or so as I was waiting for some clear weather. Not sure if the fuel is the same. could it be the mixture IE too lean? How many turns should I be to start with? thanks

My club NADMAS could not have been better. I went from zero to A cert in nine months. I had lessons on a buddy lead and then coached for a few solo flights until I had confidence. After that it was just a case of getting the stick time in.

Ye it is great though. sort the voice stuff. I am getting to grips with it know, the flaperons were easy to as i had no y lead and easy to invert the signal if you needed to.

How can I make it say flaps when it toggled,or gear uptown etc?

Ye I tried that but once I had the ailerons done I no longer moved on the sticks?

Can anyone help me in how I ca go about programming in flaperons? Imam also,stuck with how to mix,in down elevator with flaps?

Hi, it's me again. if I wanted the use one of the voltage sender units with my x8r apart from the unit would I need any else?

Been thinking about this. If people worry about this, how on earth do they file away people flying home built jets.

I have done a google search it seems to be peoples problem is with the CE mark as they are made in China. I think people don't understand the CE mark. I could apply a CE mark to anything if I stated it was compliant . i would be a idiot if it was not complicate As I would taken to the cleaners if it was not and a accident takes place. Same system a uk company would use. Come to think of it the exact same as spectrum.

I have a worry today I was told my tx is illegal and I will not be insured by the BMFA if I use it? I won't be able to fly at my club if this is true?

So the x6r I could put raw battery voltage in to send it back? where do you buy the x series receivers from?

Ye sure is. I have just been reading the summary on wiki. In a nut shell it's a engineers toy. Suits me being a engineer. tomorrow night I will try retracts and variable flap positions. I fancy putting flaps on the twist pots. My overal aim to to be able to program flaperons. I tried a few times on spectrum but it was never spot on. It's a x8r 8/16ch with tel. I have got it linked up and work. The transmitter is set to D16. Must admit it's not as hard as I first thought.

I assume I can plug the throttle line on any channel I assign and hence the power for the receiver?

Well. It's arrived. I have opened and I think I need to do a lot of reading. It looks nice feels nice. however I have no clue what am doing. Anyone know any good tutorials ? How do you know what numbers go to what on the receiver?

Hi everyone I realise this is a old thread, however. I have been flying for about a year know. My first and only TR is Dx6i. Unfortunately I lost a model using it. People from my club gave me the not surprised speech. So I have ordered a taranis. Although I intend to replace my orange receivers I,still have a fair few on indoor models etc on spectrum can you buy this module pre built? appreciate any help
