I'm just running in my Evo 10cc gasser engine in, now on about the 4th tank of fuel and I'm still getting a huge amount of black gunk from the exhaust, which in turn turns the fuel in the tank black, almost instantly, via the muffler pressure pipe. The mixture is right at 20:1, I'm using fully synthetic two stroke, and the mixture seams ok as it's running pretty well. It's costing me a fortune in wipes and it's not got off the ground yet. Any suggestions, gratefully accepted.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's come across problems with this kit. Most steps leave you scratching your head, but hey ho, all part of the learning curve. Mine is just about ready for it's maiden flight. Yes, the canopy got a new latch to secure it, upgraded tail wheel, and after buying Robart struts from America, proper size wheels to fit the struts, which look great. It really is a great looking model when all the stickers are on it.

Hello All, first pose an'all that. I might be thrown of this thread by the Webmaster, but I suppose it is a Chipmunk albeit a 'super' one after all. Anyway, has any one built the Fly Fly Superchipmunk ARTF kit, the bigger one of the two kits available? If so, have you come across any problems with it?
