  2. Evening all, 

     

    Over the weekend, our tech guys have been working to improve the log on situation between the main RCM&E site and the forum. Both the magazine website and forums are now configured to use the forums user system for all logins and authentication, so one single location for logging in, resetting passwords, and entering your subscriber ID for reading the archives.

     

    We hope this reduces confusion about previously having to log into two accounts.

I received a link, which I followed (Firefox browser), and set my password to the same one as I use for this forum. Saved OK. Because of the way Firefox works on my Surface, I am unable to navigate the site - dropdowns disappear before you have chance to select anything. So, I logged out. Tried to login on Edge browser and I am back to square one - invalid user or password (same outcome using my username or ky email address). 

     

    Possibly user error.

    I've spoken with the tech guys overnight and they're currently in the process of combining the two log-ins so that there is just the one for both the main site and the forum. Once this is complete, they've said, that should stop this problem happening for you. I'll see what I can find out in terms of timeframes but in the meantime, feel free to shout if you can't get in and need passwords changing etc.

    Hi Phillip, 

    You aren't the first subscriber from NZ that I've come across this week whose received their August issue but not July. I've looked into it but unfortunately the company who looks after our overseas posting isn't able to provide any tracking individually. They've said there is currently a max of 10 weeks expected delivery time to NZ, US, Canada and Australia. If you drop me a message with your postal address, I'll send a replacement July issue out as you should have had it by now. Thank you for your patience.

    I'm sorry you didn't receive anything from us. You should have received a letter if the payment didn't go through. But unfortunately, currently, we don't have any way to auto renew the payment if the card changes. Please feel free to message me if there's anything I can do to help further.

    Just wanted to send our apologies for the forum being down for a few hours this afternoon. There were some background technical problems but they've now been sorted and so you should be able to get in, read and post as normal.

  7. Just to clarify, the July issue is on sale on the 18th and so I'd be very surprised if it was on the shelves already (it shouldn't be). It should arrive with subscribers over the weekend. 

    Also, I'm not sure why they told you there was a close period, this isn't correct. The June issue was on sale 21st May and the July issue is out on the 18th June.

    As the June issue is now out, the gift has been updated, which is why it's showing as the LiPo sacks as this is the June offer. Unfortunately, the Permagrit bundle is no longer available.

    Each month will be a different gift as advertised in the magazine. The URL link to subscribe is: https://rcme.secureorder.co.uk/RCME/RCME2021/ and the gift on this link will be updated at the relevant time.

Steven - I've been told by our distributors last week that flights between Canada and the UK were suspended in December which has been causing all manner of delays and the magazines just don't seem to be getting through because of the backlog and them being sent under standard priority mail. If you'd like to email me with your subs number or address, I can look into your account and get some replacements out to you. [email protected]

Alfonso - the way the system works, it needs an exact match to the details the subscriptions dept holds compared with your details on here and it looks like there was a difference in your surname that was causing the problem. I've amended it so both have the same details and I've checked and the subscriber area now works for you.

    Manish - thank you for your patience in my reply. I'll search through my emails for yours and answer now.

    I find it highly annoying to have to find this on the forum. This should have been emailed to people outside the UK. I was waiting for the backlog of issues to arrive at my doorstep at some point. Time to start emailing again.
