Hello all. Some people on here may well be able to relate to this. I for one am sick of hearing the statement " support your local model shop " when the service you get is so poor. Why should I support it when I can get everything I need off the internet with no fuss or delay. Now I am not just going to make this rash statement without backing it up with evidence. 1st instance : Need to buy new undercarriage. This is in stock, the new 3 inch wheels are in stock, but they don't stock the locking collets to hold the wheels on !! Told they would be on a stock order and to wait for supply, 1 month later they are still not in stock. Order them off ebay, get them 48 hours later... 2nd instance : Need new power panel. Power panel in stock, happy days. However, it hasn't got a built in fuel pump so I ask for a pump. Don't stock it !! Ok then, can I have a manual pump..... havnt got any of those either... Checked for suppliers on the internet and I can get the panel I would like by Wednesday this coming week. So based on this, why should I support my local model shop ???
