Hi all,   Well, after my last post I went out and purchased the Phoenix Flight sim and it does everything I hoped it would and more. The only trouble is I keep getting a Tx connection error, if I move the adaptor cable and plug then the  problem goes away only to return a few moments later.   Does anybody know if this is a connection problem in the adaptor cable, or poor contact between the adaptor connector and Tx, or faulty connection inside the Tx between the socket and the electronics.   Help please...

Thanks for all your thoughts; it looks like I'll give the Phoenix software a go. I've got a 6EXAP radio, a couple of crashed multiplex park fliers and a Tutor 40 with a OS46 in it which is still fully operational and not crashed yet! (I've only flown it twice under the guidance of a experienced RC flyer).

Hi,   I'm new to RC flying and would like to get a feel for flying without the cost of buying more  models ( notice I said more models!!). I don't want a cheap sim but one that can help me develop and learn from the basics up. Next Sping I'll look to join a club (Any suggestions for the Exeter area?) but until then I'd like to get a feel for RC flying.   Thanks for your thoughts and advice. Mike.
