  1. Hi john, thanks for that,I've had a look at this model and it seems quite handy considering I have a DX6,Thanks again 👍
  2. Hi Chris, i was told recently by the owner of a local model shop that the club/field at Ashbourne was a really nice club to join,he also said it has a Tarmac and grass strip ? It's at least an hour away from where I am but would be worth travelling by the sound of it 😀 thanks Chris
  3. I have already re-newed my insurance with the BMFA and have got my A- certificate
  4. Hi Simon, penkridge wouldn't be too far it's only about 20 mins up the M6,it would be worth me having a look at least.
  5. Hi Ken,I take it you live up that way then ? Hopefully there's someone down this way that may be able to sort me out otherwise I'm moving up there 😂 thanks for the welcome Ken 😀
  6. Hi,thanks for the replies, I was looking at an artf ideally but would consider a build project, don't really have a size restriction but was looking at an acro-wot type of size,I'm in newcastle under Lyme in Staffordshire, have made a few enquires to various clubs in the area but nothing 100% yet, thanks again 😀
  7. Hi everyone hope you are all well, My name is Steve and I'm 38yrs old and new to the forum,I have flown models since I was about 13yrs old and have mainly flown high wing planes including models such as the wot 4 etc,I have not flown for approx 6 yrs and have decided to get back into it (which I knew would happen at some point) so I have decided to buy a wot 4 foam-e to get me back into the swing of things,it's now all built and I'm in the process of starting to find sites to fly, I'm presuming that after a couple of flights it will all come back to me a bit like riding a bike,I've always wanted to step up from high wing models to low wing and eventually purchase a nice aerobatic plane but the advice that I'm after is what would be the best type of low wing trainer to buy,I've done a bit of research on this and there are so many options I'm a bit confused so the more advice I can get the better, Thank you all 😀 Steve.
