  1. Hi gliggsy Thanks for the post, I have had a bit of a search on Phantom Pilots but it's not obvious which post or where to look, any chance you could post the page link, I'll carry on looking in the mean time. Les
  2. Hi all Does anyone know if you can, using a cable splitter connect both the iPhone 6 and the iPad air 2 to the Phantom 4 controller so that both can be used to view the live camera feed simultaneously, if not any ideas on the cheapest way of achieving this. Thanks for any advice. Les
  3. Thanks to everyone for their input, I checked the suggested sites The Hanger 9 cowl has been discontinued they only have one for smaller plane, I looked on the Carbon Copy site and they do have 2 cowlings that would be suitable, Thunder Tiger Cub cowling which is similar and has the dummy engines on both sides the other is for the Great Planes J3 cub which is a bit bigger at the firewall but could perhaps be cut down, but has no dummy engines, I looked on the Great Planes site and found a list of online retailers and on the Tower hobbies site I found a J3 Cub cowl with 2 dummy engines and 2 Baffles so I think I will give them a try. Thanks again to everyone. Les
  4. Hi All I hope that there is someone here that can point me in the right direction, I have acquired a J3 Cub which is in need of some repair I have removed the covering completely and I am starting to recover, I also need to install an engine, as it was originally 2 stroke I have some engines that are suitable but I do not have a usable cowl for the plane to help me get the engine fitted to the firewall, I have the damaged cowl that came with the plane but I have tried unsuccessfully to find a replacement, many of the cowls found on the web are linked to a particular make or supplier I do not know the supplier of the kit. I have the damage original cowl and I have taken a picture of the nose area of the plane and added the measurements which are below. I would be grateful if anyone can advise where I would get a replacement. Thanks for looking. Les

  7. I am 64 but quite new to RC I have built a couple of foam planes from drawing I have found on various forums that I have yet to fly, I have joined one or two forums but they are in the USA and so most of the information regarding parts etc is American orientated, so best to join a British forum and here I am.No doubt you will see quite a few posts from me looking for help, I look forward to joining in with you all. Regards Les
