    Had a Radio failure today!!!! Well thats a bit unkind to the radio really ..A reciver power failure. A component came loose on A BEC I was using... Still had camera in FPV but no control.... Model poughed in making a small dent and a large mess! Gutted to say the least.

    Oh I see it now... Sorry the pic was a bit small on my phone! The RV4 I am putting together now will be an electric. Hopefully 4s. Going to test it with an FMS motor, Although I might go for something a bit more powerful for the sale version. Is it elecric you mostly fly.

    Thank you Richard. I have never been so nervous on a maiden! A few more test flights then unfortunately a few intentinal heavy landings to see how she copes! Building another now too to write the instructions. It has a really high parts count but is very easy to build. Thanks again.

    2nd test flight C/O today with great success. Had to use my DX6 so no video yet.. Futaba 8J has fried a pcb... not happy! Thinking of getting a Tarranis? Any thoughts on it? Anyway. Did stall tests, spin recovery, a few loops, A barrel roll each way. and 12 circuits in different configs. Although too windy for full flaps. Now she is trimed out she fies amazing. So happy.

    Went to do a 2nd test flight today. Was Taxiing out to take off after power checks and the motor stopped. I then noticed I had no control! All batteries reading good? Did a range check and only had about 10m? Cannot find what the issue is though?

    Never have I been so nervous..... Test flight C/O today in calm cold conditions. A bit port wing heavy and a touch of up elevator trim. Also will have to reduce the control throws a bit on elevator and aelerons. After a few adjustments the 2nd flight was perfect. With the OS 52 at 1/3 throttle she flies along beautifully. Open her up !!!! and she goes so fast! Thanks for all the support on here... A few more test flights ( Loads) to evaluate stalls, tight turns aerobatics etc not in that order to get a good amount of data then onto a 2nd one. Video to follow, albiet ...only from the ground so far.
