  1. The wing structure prior to skinning. There is 1.5 degrees of washout n the wing. I am building 2 other wings . One with 1 degree and another with 0.5 degree. A previous RV4 I had built had no washout. It did tend to tip stall a bit too readily especially when near the stall with power on.
  2. A view of the rudder pedals which will be connected with a closed loop system. If no servos used in the case of a non flying display model. The Pilots and Co pilots rudder pedals will move with the rudder.
  3. this shows the Fuselage skins going onto the frame. The skins will be pre cut. There will be little to no sanding to do.
  4. kc i fully agree. I wouldnt buy anything without proof of success either. I will be providing this long before any thing is for sale. The elevator still lacks the tips which will have the balance tabs you mention. These are vacume formed items The Empenage is also 10% bigger due to the reduced aerodynamic effect that will come from scaleing it down.
  5. Hi kc. I realise this. I have built similar models although smaller. This follows on from these. I am sure it will fly + any bad habits it might have will be corrected by subsequent design changes. The kit won't. Be available until i believe it is completlt ready. I do have experience with models and full sized aircraft having done a 6 yr light aircraft apprenticeship re building several aircraft and completing 9 yrs in the RAF. I will keep yoy posted though. Thanks.
  6. This picture shows the servo mounting cradle for the Elevator, rudder and flaps. These connect to the cockpit controls as do the ailerons.   Edited By Pete B - Moderator on 27/08/2016 17:41:05
  7. Also. I will be adding the RV3 and RV 7 to the collection in quik succession. Followed by other models in the same scale later on.
  8. Hi Phil 9. It has a 1480mm wingspan. I will be test flying it with an OS 52 4 stroke. I will also be testing a 2nd prototype with electric power. 4s.
  9. I have designed and am building this RV4 with the intension of supplying it in kit form. I will keep putting up photos to gauge interest. It will have fully functioning flight controls so can be set up for immersive FPV flying. It can also be set up to be a display model with no servos. The cotrols will still be fully functioning. I should have it ready for sale in about 3 to 4 months. I am undecided to supply it as quik buld or in kit form.
