  1. Almost finished building and weighs 4lb 1.5oz. Need to start covering once finished wasting time on colour and design.
  2. Finally finished all of the time consuming jobs at the end of the build and only need to fit the rear fuse covering. To make things difficult I have chosen to run the aileron and elevator linkages internally thus a moments hesitation in finishing the fuse. Had to add another 70gm of weight to get the recommended CG. All up weight is 4lb 1.5oz. Happy with that ....... just need to cover now
  3. OK Mike.........Have to admit defeat and ask for help. Being new to model planes and building from plan I don`t grasp how the rear servo mounts attach to the fuse. From the magazine images I can see what appear to be external screwed plates. What do they look like close up and how do they work please.
  4. Finally sorted motor mount and the cowl..........just waiting to fit the horizontal and vertical stabilizers to determine where the elevator/ rudder servos will go so far as CG is concerned and also finalise the battery and its tray position. Weight is around 4 pounds at the moment
  5. Sorry for any interruption to peoples Saturdays..........lack of attention to detail. Problem solved. Wing halves together and they even fit the fuse (after intervention from sandpaper).......and approx 20mm dihedral at each of the last ribs. Power wise I have finally settled on a 800kv driven by a 4S 3300 Lipo. Anybody else committed to electric, and if so what has been your choice ?
  6. Anybody with the same issue as me..........just sorting the wing sections ready to join using the 20mm dihedral under each tip and........mmmnnnn......they do not meet at the roots. I have rechecked my ply root rib dihedral templates with the plan, and they are correct. They also match the completed wing sections.
  7. Hi Mike.......the plans show shape to both the aileron and the wings trailing edge but the images above show shape to the aileron leading edge. How much and where is shape most needed ?
