Hi All,
Having had a 15 year break I was spurred on to finish off a model my Dad bought me 10 years ago, it's a JP Pretty 1500. Now its all but finished and almost ready to fly I've decided to resurrect a couple of my older models for practice to hopefully give the Pretty more of a chance of surviving.
Anyway out of the garage I have pulled out my Irvine X-ite which is a flying wing with a 400 brushed motor.
I vaguely recall it not flying particularly well in the handful of flights it had, mainly didn't seem to have enough power to launch on a flat field.
Now in hindsight I'm pretty convinced I didn't balance it properly and am hoping in doing so I should get it to fly well.
My question is though in the moving it seems the propeller and the wing endplates have vanished. Can anyone firstly tell me if I need to fabricate some new endplates or will it be OK without.
And I guess more importantly can someone point me at the correct propeller to buy for this model. I've had a look and cant seem to see the wood for the trees with all these drone props etc that are now everywhere.
