Posted by Alan Gorham_ on 21/03/2018 16:17:10: True, it can hold more than one event, but the electric fly-in are advising they have use of the tarmac runway, which is not big enough for two simultaneous events, so I was just curious if both parties have knowledge of the others event. we use the grass and john who runs the GS team is on the ball with talking to the army and anyone useing the airbase. TVSA AERO TOW The TVSA would like to invite you all again to our 2 Aerotow meetings at the Vale Of The White Horse Gliding Centre at Shrivenham near Swindon. These are both 2 day events and camping is available from the Friday evening, but please do not arrive before 4pm to allow Ray to get there first, and you must depart on the Sunday evening. The dates are 28/29th of July and 22/23rd September 2018. As usual, we do not have exclusive use of the site and the full size gliding will continue alongside us. There are toilets on site and sometimes somebody from their club does bacon or sausage butties for us (but this is not guaranteed) and sometimes an Ice Cream van turns up after lunch.
