  1. I have, just to try, but it is only a 6 channel receiver, and on the transmitter Aux1 isn't listed; but this is listed as Flap. Aux2 and Aux3 are obviously listed, but the receiver doesn't have those ports.
  2. I have tried to go through each setting, changing flight mode, device settings etc. trying in various combinations to no effect. Thinking about it, I will double check the left aileron works with the flap switch with everything set to normal.
  3. I have a 6 channel DMSS receiver and am having trouble mating the flap channel to aileron. I have done this numerous times before with seperate servo/channel for the ailerons, but on this occasion the model has retracts so I am using the gear port and the only available one is the aux1/flap channel. I have tried mating the gear channel and it works fine (as I have done many time before), but I cannot get the flap channel to mate. Any one have any ideas?
  4. Just seen this...shocked. Very sad to hear this news. I have been in contact with Steve over the past couple of years while building an old turnaround design. I was going to send him some photos of the finished model... My condolences to his family, what a tough time they have had, with his father and uncle. Chris Dodd
  5. Just finished a biplane with a RG812BX reciever. (Electric motor and seperate receiver power pack) Model is set-up for 4 ailerons and one uses the AUX3 output on the receiver (this also being the Xbus port depending how it is bound) Most of the time it is well behaved, but occasionally the servo from the AUX 3 port flutters constantly. The only way to stop it, is to disconnect the motor power pack, switch off the recveier and transmitter, switch on again and it is fine. Next flight, all is fine. Anyone had this issue before? and is it related to the AUX3 port?
  6. You are right it might be and fair play if it is, but it has been a few weeks now and my money was taken not long after placing the order. Even if it is a part-time venture, my phone and email/contact messages should have been acknowledged by now, surely? It will be interesting to know if he attends the Cosford show then. I might wait til after the weekend then before contacting PayPal.
  7. Posted by Denis Watkins on 11/07/2017 10:42:04: Always pay by credit card or PayPal Chris, for obvious reasons I cannot even find the website But stick to the known vendors I paid by paypal, so have that security. I normally stick to a number of trusted web retailers, but sometimes they do not have what you want (or higher prices) I guess if every one stuck to the big stores, the smaller ones would all go under, that being said, you know where you stand. I have done a bit of research, and as stated seen the shows they have attended etc. Having left a number of messages I will give it a few days then have to go through Paypal...
  8. So now I have messaged them twice and tried calling and nothing...and having trouble getting to my account on the website...alarm bells ringing now!
  9. Okay, just wondering as all items were said to be in stock and payment accepted. I have messaged them and had no reply...
  10. I have finished my model using epoxy cloth followed by Halfords car paints (these being acrylic). Having researched originally was led to believe that this should be fuel proof, however, after finishing the model and test running the engine all was fine until I trimmed a fuel tube and a little neat fuel splattered onto the fuz and it softened the clear coat, so obviously not proof against 10%+ nitro fuel. So now I am having to look at adding a coat of tougher fuel proofer, but concerned as to what product would be safe over the existing paint. I have experienced compatibility problems before so nervous of this happening again. Has anyone any experience of this finishing method with modelling fuel proofers on top?
  11. Anyone used RC model store, located in Stotfold, Hertfordshire?
