  1. I finished my electric wot 4 last week and had to add 'a lot' of lead to make it slightly nose down at the 70mm point. I also know one other at my club who has had a similar problem. Is this a design fault or is it normal to add so much ballast? The plane is very heavy but does fly well. Does anyone know what the designer's intentions were? I have some 3300 and will see if they fit.
  2. Thank you for all your help. It has helped me make sense of all the figures. I have a watt meter on order!
  3. Thanks again for you comments. How much flight time would I get from a 3300 25C battery?
  4. Thanks for your replies; I'm going to spend some time and get my head around all the figures. I like the look of wbocalc. I think I am stuck with the motor I have got so will have to calculate to suite that. So the variables will be my esc, battery and prop.
  5. Help with setup I am quite new to RC and electric flight with 21 flights to my name but unfortunately I do not have 21 landings to match! I am struggling to get an average flight time and I think I am only getting 6 mins a flight which is not helping my learning.  I have a Seagull Innovator with the following set up:Airtek ESC 40 Amp Motor E-MaxBL2815/09Li-pos used 2100 25C Prop 11/7 Any ideas of how I can increase my flight time without damaging bits?
