You dont give use much to go on when u say there is no RF output. The old simple tests of listeneing on a domestic FM radio may indicate if the xtal oscillator is in fact oscillating. For example 27 x 3 = 81 MHz or 27 x 4 =108 MHz so there is a chance you could confirm the crystal is working I built my Microtrol back in the day from probably the same source, still have it. cheers Geoff
