Im looking forward to seeing the end result
Good luck with the tissue and dope I would offer some advice but I havent done that before either I have only ever used iron on film from hobbyking.

Looking good...
I wondered earlier what the green and purple stuff was in by the control rods. I see it is to stop the epoxy getting in there and gluing them up solid..
Have you decided how your going to finish it.... Paint or film?

Good to see this build back.

I`m building a Cambrian ME 109, build thread will be started tomorrow with full spec etc. Once done i am going to do a Cambria KI61 Hein. I already have a Cambria Spitfire uo and ready to fly which someone else built, it is on 4s and a Sunnysky X2814 35MM 1250 kv motor on an 8x8 prop, it should go like the clappers on that set up. I also have a very old Cambrian P51 which i am converting to electric as we speak.......
thanks martin. i will look forward to seeing and reading your build thread as im sure it will help me with my build,
cheers

Hi martin.
What funfighter are you building. Have you chose a setup?
I am going to order one myself this week. Im going with the cambrian hurricane ( electric ). I have a turnigy 3536 1450kv to use in mine with a 9"or 10" prop not sure if to go 3 or 4 cell at the moment all depends on cg.

Hi Daniel
I have to say it was a 50/50 decision between buying a jig or “risking it”! The “risking it” won as storage of the jig would have been a problem afterwards and I did a more difficult fuz ok sans jig last year.
I spent time on getting the central formers and servo tray in and square and checking that the rears of both fuz sides met both in length and horizontally. I also used a long steel rule as a check.
Thats a great answer thankyou. I do have a slec fuz jig but was interested in how you went about it as one of these is on my list to build. I Look forward to seeing it finished.

Hi richard.
Looking good so far. A quick question about the fuse if you dont mind answering. because of the slot and tab design you do not need to use a fuselage building jig to get a straight fuse.
Cheers

hi martin.
thankyou for the quick reply. if i build one [ i will ] it would be a brushless setup as my club are an all electric club, i think i would have to build a hurricane as it is my favourite warbird. if you could do a build blog on here that would be great. i have 5 traditional builds under my belt all with built up wings etc...hmm 838 watts on 3lb plane should be fun! its gonna get small fairly quick i imagine.

nice models! i have always wanted to build one of these. how much experience in building would one need to be able to put one of these together?
