Does that mean that the analogue and digital servos are interchangeable?

Thanks Rob for the information. However, it gives an excellent description of an analogue server, what is the difference with a digital server, does it it still use the same control pulses and potentiometer but has a digital control circuit.

Can any point me to a book or technical literature which details the operational details of how a servo works.

I have 2 Oliver Tiger in need of a rebore. Where could I get this done?
