  1. I’m going to look at that model as a few posts now are confirming it’s a good training plane.
  2. The wrapping in bubble wrap comment was just a joke
  3. Can you fly planes wrapped in bubblewrap
  4. Thanks Paul I did not see that on the list but I will definitely keep it in mind. Doesn't matter how big the field is. Id hit something haha.
  5. Hello All I am now back I decided to keep away for a few days haha I do appreciate all the assistance off everyone just found it very overwhelming so quick. I would get a response and before I could read/digest & respond I would have another 5 replies. Then certain people got a little angry due to slow responses but I don't sit infront of a PC 24/7 I have looked and found two clubs near me South Cheshire & Mid Cheshire flying clubs which I will investigate further and find which is best for me. I really appreciate all the direct messages off people giving me support and advice and agree now with the time involved RTF models will be best for me (Side question can motors etc be upgraded or replaced if damaged on RTF's?) I noticed on some threads a lot of discussions can get heated due to one persons opinion can be different to another and people wont agree. Thanks for all the support so far.   Edited By Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator on 07/02/2018 02:35:35
  6. Thanks for this. So confusing but it sounds like it should be so simple to work out. Is there a class rating for motors?
  7. It’s no problem. Just so much to read and understand. I don’t understand how people work out the battery to motor flight time equation. Couple examples seem confusing. Am I missing something!!!!!
  8. Gentleman please calm down I was driving back from my girlfriend. I was also looking at the location map for club locations I am from sandbach in Cheshire and noticed two clubs by me. I knew membership costs would be involved and looked at the clubs websites to see if prices were on these.
  9. Hi sorry so many questions were coming at me and forum posts so quick I was trying to deal with certain parts of questions I had at a time and then research those parts before replying back. I never replied back on the transmitter question because I work in IT etc so I am pretty ok with that sort of knowledge. It’s more the basics of how to fly, best places to get kit from etc.
  10. If I gave up on building my own. Can you still get kits so you can build yourself and get enjoyment from that? Also as I have not brought anything before is there good variety of kits to buy out there?
  11. How much are training planes then?
  12. Hi all sorry for the delay busy day I am from Cheshire and looking to actually build my own from a kit. I don’t actually think I’d get enjoyment from ready built ones. My only worry is if I crash my plane and many people say it’s happens a lot. How do you repair? Is it part of the hobby? Is it easy to do?
  13. Hi All, wondered if someone can help me. I want to get into RC planes but have tried to understand the basics but a lot of youtube videos contradict each other. Can anyone help me understand the basics (equipment needed etc) And best of all the best websites to buy from
