Maybe my post 14/11/17 heading wasn't clear enough. I have a DX7 Tx in the international mode, I have inherited some AR500 DSM2 rxs, Can I convert the Tx to the Eu mode so I can use these rxs? thanks Helidel

I have a DX6e international Tx, can it be converted to EU version so I can use my EU rx?

where can I get these decals that tell me the sizes

Have just tried again and while searching for the file .frk I connected the rx and voila the download option lit up it started to and completed the download with a solid green led on the rx.! Helidel

Have just tried Martyn's s advice .. a few times ... but get the following problems after installing CP210x VCP Windows drivers. 1] connected USB adapter to the PC & it says it's on COM3 2] open S/port upgrade adapter .. COM 1 displays as not found I change to COM3 and get the same msg. 3] when selecting X8R 150115.frk I get the green led flashing-red solid ... forever! Cannot see what I'm doing wrong! Helidel

Ref Chris B's "ps" on his post 26/02/15 I have many X-R rcvs. and only 1 X6R eu rx.which I want to downgrade to suit my old Taranis. I can use it in the D8 mode but would like to use it in D16. Have just completed a very successful maiden with my Acrowot(e) but what a pain to get the battery (3S 2200) fitted. I looked at the Ripmax mod for the ESC but the ESC is too long to fit where they say! I have managed to re locaqted but it takes more fiddling to fit the battery than it did to make the plane! Why with such a well used model wsn't the forseen? Speaking with other club members (3) they have all had this problem with the Acrowatt ESC. Come on Ripmax a little more QC would have helped. Thanks Timbo, and also for moving the post here. Seems most odd that mixes are in the programming but not usable  I can make the a mix work but only if I make the plane a heli!!

No answers yet  maybe one of the Moderators could move this to the Spektrum/JR  area. Or maybe I'm the only guy that has this problem

Mix1 & mix 2 show throttle to throttle as default (from new)I have tried to set either mix to a throttle hold but cannot get any response from the *** thing!  [works OK on my DX7] The kill button works OK for glows but I'd like a definite throttle safety switch on my electrics so I don't have to hold the button down on the way out to fly.
