I guess I know where Anthony is coming from: I read the reviews of kits and ARFs, made, done, and flown by the pros to get an idea of what I am up against. My first attempt was the result of a Christmas present... I know I should have not been as impatient; And, yes, trying to "try it out at less-than-full throttle wasn't the wisest thing I'v ever done; and, yes, in hindsight, doing the first flight in the street in front of the house (no cars-Xmas, remember, and 4" of fresh snow to gentle the inevitable impact); but those 4 ducted fans were just screaming to beat the band! And no wind! And what a thrill to watch this EPP beast stagger away.. and the first turn-not bad... Well, you know how newbies can't quite get the reverse control thing correct when your beauty is coming back towards you? Boy! That EPP is really great stuff! Not a dent it it at all after finding the street sign... To this day I have no idea where the 4th fan blade got to! It just was no longer there! I'm sure you get the idea, so I won't bore you with the attempts to get another fan. So, Anthony, keep it up! I don't think any of us rookies are going to see the likes of any free-kits-if-you'll-just write-a-review, but, who knows? In for a penny...
