  1. Hi Guys could someone give me some advice please on the Microbeast Plus system. I am doing a Trex 600 Nitro flybar Conversion to a DFC Flybarless system and i am little unsure if the AR7000 DM2 Receiver with one DM2 satellite plugged in is ok to use with the microbeast system. I am also using a Spektrum DX7S Radio Any help on this subject would be much appreciated.
  2. Thank You for that information Nigel, its for a friend of mine who has lost his model instructions and I have been trying to find some info for the speed controller. Regards Brian
  3. Hi could anybody help me out, I need the user instructions for a Hobbywing Pentium 60a Electronic Speed Controller 3a/5v ver 3.2 . I have searched the web but can not find anything on this controller. If anybody does have a manual of could tell me where I could find the settings for the controller I would be most grateful Regards Brian
  4. ok many thanks for your help, that has resolved that problem thanks Brian
  5. Hi I have a Thunder Tiger Raptor 90 Helicopter that I am setting up on a Futaba 9c radio I am not sure what swash head mix to use on the radio a 3 or 4 and cant find the answer in the manual. is there anybody that has had one set up or could give me some advice on this please? Thanks Brian
  6. Many Thanks for everybody's advice on this project, I have listened carefully to what has been said and so have decided to get someone with a lot more knowledge of the mechanics than me to try and restore that part of it I am not to bad with the repairs of the bodywork and I am reasonably competent with electric's but when it comes to the safety side of flying I do take it very seriously and understand what can go wrong if you cut corners. So thank you all and I will take on board everything that is shared on the forum Regards Brian
  7. Thank You for the advice Dave, I have noticed that some of the retract plastic parts have become brittle like you have described, I am just wondering how difficult it is going to be to find anything to replace them with. But I am quite looking forward to the challenge to see if it is going to be possible to see this Lady fly again. Regards Brian
  8. Hi Wayne Thank You very much for that information, from the picture you have posted the retract mechanism looks exactly the same . Most of the people I know in the Hobby have only dealt with the modern types of Helicopters so the knowledge for repairing these types of vintage models is more difficult to find . So thank you for taking the time to post this information to me, if you do come across anything else if you could let me know it would be much appreciated. when I finally get this model repaired and in the air I will post some pictures for you to see .Regards Brian
  9. Hi Colin thanks very much for all your help with this Helicopter you have certainly been a big help and have given me lots of avenues to explore to get this classic model back in the air. From what you are saying it sounds like you all had lots of fun flying these back in the day, if I manage to get it flying again I will show you some of the video footage it might bring back some memories Once Again Thank You for taking the time to look into this for me, it was much apricated Regards Brian
  10. Thank s for the New information Colin, I have checked everywhere on it for some markings including the mechanics but can't see anything. The Engine is a OS 61SF and it looks as though it started from underneath of the Helicopter it wasn't a Top Start. I have put a few more pictures on I don't know if you will be able to identify it from them, but thank you for all your help so far. Brian
  11. Hi Colin Thank You very much for the information on the retracts, I didn't have any documentation with it so was not able to identify the model but from what you have told me I will now have a start to resolving the issue Thank You Regards Brian
