This is my first attempt at building a model plane and yes I know its not best for a beginner. It wont be the first I fly but I've got it so why not build and look for a first one to fly. Also my first build posting so be gentle with me please. But do jump in with advice if you see I'm doing something wrong. It began last winter when it was to cold to play in the man cave. On opening the box to find lots off wood and other bits best shut it and do what no man likes to admit and read the instruction book. Still not much wiser I' followed it step buy step.First the top wing this seemed to go quiet well the lazer cut parts sliped together. RGDS GARY

Good morning everybody Just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I have built models all my life, and enjoy it. I don't have one choice off model making just do what takes my fancy. My main hobby is 5" gauge steam loco's which I have 3 on the go at the moment. Also RC boats and static ship's, why take up aircraft? Well last winter it was too cold to be in the workshop. So looking round the model shop for a inside project there where model aircraft hanging from the roof. They looked fun so to cut a long story short I came away with a kit and all the bits. Made a start then we've hade a lovely summer so it went on the back burner now it's moved back to the top off the list. What is it you wonder probably not the best first plane but it looked good on the box it's a FOKKER D.VII and build thing's I like. Rgds GARY
