Hi Nigel, I did a refurb on an OS 46 AX last summer and found that once everything was stripped other than the bearings, a quick stint in the oven at 160 expanded the case a little so you can tap it out gently with a dowel. Whole process took less than 20 mins, including explaining to the wife that it would not ruin the Sunday roast! Same process for fitting new ones after in reverse order. Hope this helps.

I am recently back into the hobby and am am a kit fan rather than ARTF fan. I have been retraining after my 25 year gap (flying full size) and have been using a Seagull Boomerang. Over the summer i built a Seagull Challenger (kit version). I am now looking for something to build over the winter and fancy a go at scale. I have been looking at hurricanes (RBC and TN) and chipmunks having spent some full size time on a chippy. I have had a look at the market and the different kit options and complexities and would be grateful of some advice. Ideally looking to go for I/C rather than electric and noticing too big <1700 wingspan. Thanks in advance...
